The Auckland Hotel, Morecambe

The hotel offered comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms with good WiFi but was affected by noise from evening entertainment and a loud corridor door. The service was friendly, although there were instances of staff entering the room without notice. The location was ideal for last-minute trips and exploring Morecambe, right by the beach. The dining experience varied with some nice options but also shortcomings. Despite this, the hotel had a convenient and enjoyable beachfront setting.

Staying at this hotel was a delight with its beautiful sea view rooms that provided plenty of space for our family. The modern decor was impressive, although the lack of soundproofing was a downside that should have been addressed during the renovations. The service was exceptional, especially with the helpful staff like Julie who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was ideal, offering a warm and clean environment with easy access to bars and restaurants, making it perfect for our last-minute trip to visit a sick relative. While the dining experience was not outstanding, the overall value for the price paid was reasonable.
